            This website explores the quarter of a century long remarkable journey of a lifesaving. This Hospital work on  remote tribal area Kinwat in Marathwada region of Maharashtra, India for people who were deprived of all the minimum and primary modern medical facilities for centuries. This hospital has been named after Sane Guruji, a great social reformer, freedom fighter and a Guruji of Maharashtra – Sane Guruji Rugnalay and Research Centre. The motto of this hospital is “ to reach the unreached ”This hospital is a brainchild of Dr Ashok Belkhode ( M.S. General Surgery ), who dedicated his life for this noble cause and considering the need of this region chose Kinwat as his Karmabhoomi. Kinwat is a big village & taluka (Tribal) head quarter. It is 150 km away from district headquarter Nanded. He has an innate desire to serve and help the poor and the needy. He has been active right since his student days. He devotes much of his time to social upliftment through action and thinking. Over the course of his long career, Dr Belkhode’s name has become synonymous with several social activities in Kinwat region. A doctor, surgeon, health educator, social worker, activist and orator of great vision and indefatigable energy. It’s surprising that he manages all these activities with great facility in addition to his medical social work. He has been the only surgeon in the region of Kinwat for many years who provides medical care to impoverished villages. He is a paragon of social activism and a great motivation and inspiration to youths. He possesses extraordinary qualities of mind and character that strong leadership requires. He is the driving force for action and an effective catalyst of change. Dr Ashok is a social worker who finds his roots in the doctrine of Rashtra Sewa Dal, Sarvodaya, Bharat Jodo (National Integration), HALO and socialist movement and he strongly believes in the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, Vinoba Bhave and Sane Guruji. Dr Ashok is inspired by the selfless work of a great social reformer honorable Shri. Baba Amte and he is his sincere follower.

This hospital is founded, established and managed by Bharat Jodo Yuwa Academy.

Bharat Jodo Yuwa Academy finds its roots in the Bharat Jodo Abhiyan, i.e. “KNIT  INDIA” bicycle march led by  renowned social reformer Hon. BABA AMTE.  Academy draws her inspiration from the great Gandhians Shri S.N. SUBBARAO and late Shri YADUNATHAJI THATTE. The academy aims at chanelising the YOUTH POWER in this country into socio-economic transformation for better tomorrow through national integration, work for downtrodden, struggle against injustice, constructive work, eco-friendly development in all aspects so as to build up or strengthen the country.
